I'll bet you thought you'd heard the last of NaBloPoMo from me...at least for a year! Yeah, me too... Before I let it go, however, I thought I'd share what my participation in National Blog Posting Month meant to me...

Health Center(ed)
It's hard to believe that when I finish writing this entry and click my "publish" button, I will have successfully completed the NaBloPoMo challenge of posting to my blog every day throughout the month of November. So, "Yea for me!" in advance. Here on the final day of National Blog Posting Month I will write about what I believe is the most important of all the things for which I am thankful...good health.

There's Nothing Better Than Good Sax
This is the next-to-last day of NaBloPoMo! I'm almost finished with my month of posts on the topic of things for which I am thankful. When I originally made my list of 30+ things for which I am thankful to blog about, today's was one of the first I committed to writing. Since I'm choosing my topics - for the most part - at random from that list, I've been looking for daily inspiration as to which one to choose. I've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting...I'd nearly given up on this one altogether!
I'm happy to say, however, that the inspiration arrived last night, from the unlikely source of Law and Order: Criminal Intent... It was just a snippet of a song, but it was exactly the example for which I'd been waiting!
I wanted to include a clip illustrating precisely what I mean when I say I am thankful for soulful saxophone!

Yoga Bear
Wow, we've reached day 28 of the 30 days of NaBloPoMo! I've almost accomplished my goal of posting about things for which I am thankful every day during the month of November. Today I want to write about a pursuit that is decidedly less goal-oriented...
I am thankful for yoga.

She Was Just Grand(ma)
Yesterday my NaBloPoMo offering discussed my relationship with my family. Before I wander too far from the subject of family, I want to include my favorite lady in the whole world in my list of things for which I am thankful. Here on day 27 of National Blog Posting Month, I'd be privileged to introduce you to my Grandma Bessie.

...And It Feels So Good
I'm baaaaack for day 26 of National Blog Posting Month!
The subject of being reunited is on my mind today. This is a topic I've wanted to address all month long. As NaBloPoMo draws to its end, I'm glad I've been inspired before my opportunity to include this subject in my collection of posts about things for which I am thankful had passed.
Why am I thinking that I am thankful for being reunited today?

Bubble Head
I am bubbling over with joy because it's NaBloPoMo, day 25! I've been writing throughout November about things for which I am thankful. Sometimes the little indulgences are what make life sweet. Here's one I'm especially fond of...
Yesterday I wrote about how thankful I am for home. Last night I turned mine into my personal home spa, so today I want to tell you that I am thankful for bubble baths!

Home Is Where My Heart Is
It's the 24th day of NaBloPoMo, so, as I've done each day of November, I'm going to write about things for which I am thankful. I am thankful that Thanksgiving is on Thursday and that I gave myself Friday off, resulting in a four-day weekend! Now that both of us are self-employed, vacations - and even long weekends - are difficult to justify, so it's been a long time since I could claim the luxury of four, not-working-at-my-job days at home.

Whoa-oa-oa! I Smell Good!
NaBloPoMo day 23...Thanksgiving is over, but National Blog Posting Month has one more week to go. I can almost smell the finish line as I carry on writing about things for which I am thankful every day of November!
I love when I have the opportunity to dress a little nicer than I do for my work as a daycare provider. Thanksgiving yesterday was one of those days where I took the time to look and smell a little nicer. Fragrance is important to me...it is like an article of clothing. I have my "everyday" fragrance for my everyday life, then I have my special fragrances for special occasions. Among my winter wardrobe of perfumes is my absolute favorite which I wore yesterday...

It's Tradition...
Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to my NaBloPoMo post (and quote) du jour!
Most holiday celebrations center around certain elements that distinguish each...family gatherings, gift exchanges, fireworks, picnics, goofy hats and noisemakers...
In recognition of the holiday we Americans celebrate today, I want to write about the power of these traditions to bring people together, and remind us of our place in the world and in history.
