What Were You Doing 15 Years Ago Today?

Here's what we were up to...

Today we celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary!

In honor of our extra special day I wanted to share the vows I wrote to read to my groom...

Scott, throughout our life together there has run a single thread - a thread of friendship. This thread has woven our two lives into one beautiful fabric, matched perfectly and sewn securely. Happily our friendship has blossomed into love and we have chosen to commit to that love in marriage. I am proud that those qualities of trust, respect and caring we developed as friends are now the foundation for our future together as husband and wife...best friends forever.

...every word still true.

15 very happy years and congratulations to you. Boy, don't you think the time has flown through good and tough times? I am so glad that you are as happy as you are. You are a great team! And, of course, the Beatles are in all of it as well.

I am always late for the good stuff. How lovely you are! A belated, but very Happy Anniversary to you both.

I wanted to write my own vows, too, but somehow, it got lost in the shuffle. Yours were very lovely...
